Have you been told that your problem is so severe you'll have to wipe the hard drive and lose all of your data? Or that you "only" have to reinstall Windows? I've been building computers for 10 years and programming them for 20 and, unless the motherboard or hard drive died, I've run into few situations that were that severe. In cases where the hard drive hadn't failed completely, I've been able to recover all data.

Need a DVD burner installed? New Hard drive? Network port burned out? Need to add USB ports? Need a secure wireless home network? Did your old computer die and you need to pull the data off of it and migrate to a new computer? I can do it for you. How much did Geek Squad quote you? I can probably do it for half that amount.
